As a kid during the early 70's, he was literally glued to his home computer, designing games and graphics. Being born poor, Val is the perfect example of a school drop out, that got fired from his job during the low economy and still created something extraordinary out of thin air.
Today, he lives and breathes 3D art on a daily basis and runs Dreamlight fulltime. He loves nature and animals, Playstation 4 gaming and supports homeless dogs with his spouse. His motto is: As long as there is a will and you never give up, there is a way, no matter where you come from.

Paul Brake
Brake's artwork often leans towards the darker side of things with the intent to conveying hidden meanings and never revealing the full story. This results in the fact that the artist can easily imagine an interpretation without being hindered by the historical reality. For the audience, this leaves them with the ability to draw their own conclusions and debate their own interpretation of the artwork they are faced with. By examining the ambiguity and origination via retakes and variations, Brake tries to increase the dynamic between audience and artist by objectifying emotions and investigating the duality that develops through different interpretations.
Paul Brake was born in England and moved to The United States in 1996 where he is currently living and working in New York City. As a self-taught artist Brake uses his artistic ability to work in multiple forms of media artworks including digital 3D art (using software such as Daz Studio, Blender, and Vue), landscape, model, and street photography, digital photo manipulation via Photoshop and multi-media sculpture.
Brake’s 3D artwork has been used in advertising and promotions over the years—most recently for the movie “Noah”. His photography has been exhibited in New York, Miami, London, and recently in Seville, Spain by the Fundacion Valentinde Madariaga. He was also voted one of the “Best Digital Photography Influencers 2018” on Instagram, has been featured numerous times on both Fox5 and ABC7 News, and runs one of the largest Street Photography groups on Facebook.
His works are often about contact with the basic living elements. Energy (heat, light, and water), people, space, and landscape are examined in less obvious ways and sometimes re-structured and developed in absurd ways. Brake's works are on the one hand touchingly beautiful, on the other hand painfully attractive. Again, and again, his work is an attempt to intentionally leave his audience orphaned with a mix of conflicting feelings and thoughts.

Tonnie Wolfe
Tonnie took her first Photoshop class over 12 years ago. She has been creating digital art since. Wanting to add figures to her art without being limited by the use of stock photos, she chose to learn DAZ Studio. Her first render was in June, 2016, so she still clearly remembers those early days of frustration in learning this wonderful program. She enjoys combining her figures with other materials and images in Photoshop to express visual stories or concepts.
As an accomplished fiber artist, Tonnie learned to work in layers, using color and texture as her primary elements. These have carried over into her digital art. Now that she is retired from a career as a nurse case manager for families and children, Tonnie works daily in her studio. She has taught fiber art classes for many years and now looks forward to sharing digital skills that enable club members to express their unique creative vision.

We've been outlining some pretty bold statements, but don't take our word for it... See what other artists say about Dreamlight:
"Your class has improved both my understanding of 3D lighting, and my confidence in my ability to light my scenes and produce art I can be proud of. I have found your class to be well-designed, intelligent, and if you'll excuse the expression, illuminating.",
Angela Knight - 3D artist, New York Times bestselling author
"Dreamlight's lighting training is exactly how I would teach someone to do lighting. The expert advice is obviously derived from years of practical experience. Having someone to show you how to light and then explain why things work is the fastest way to truly learn the in's and out's of this essential skill.",
Michael Ambruso - Professional 3D Artist
"If we are lucky, in our lifetime we earn the privilege of getting to know and work with someone who can only be described as a genius. Since 2005 I have watched Val Cameron share the incredible genius he has for 3D Art with countless others all over the world in way that allows them to learn and grow from his seemingly limitless experience and talent.
